Potomac State Forest : These are photographs taken at Patomac State Park near Deep Creek Lake. They are all from Lostland Run, which empties into the Patomac. The last photo is of the place where Lostland Run hits the Patomac River.

Swallow Falls : These are all photographs from Swallow Falls State Park in Garrett County, MD. It's one of my favorite places to take photographs. It seems like it is green all year long. These photos go back a few years, some even before I knew about things like "white balance" on my then new DSLR. But here they are nonetheless.

Swallow Falls 2008 : These are photographs taken during our family vacation at Deep Creek Lake. I went to Swallow Falls State Park and Potomac State Forest (Lostland Run and Laurel Run trails). I think this is some of the most beautiful stuff in Maryland.

Conowingo Eagles : I spent the day at Conowingo dam, and it was a cold windy day. The eagles seemed to enjoy the trees more than the fish. We had literally decided to give up and were headed for the car when this one eagle decided to swoop down right in front of us and grab a nice size shad. Thankfully, I was able to fire off these shots in the span of about 10 seconds and salvage the day.
